Pusarla Venkata Sindhu is an Indian Professional Badminton Player , She is born on 5 July 1995 and she stands currently at world no. 5 in the BWF World Ranking. during Rio Olympics 2016 she was the first Indian woman to win an Olympic silver medal. she is one who Achieved medal in Olympics after Saina Nehwal.
P.V Sindhu came into lime light at the age of 17 yrs when she stands into top 20 of the BWF World Ranking in September 2012. she was the first ever Indian women's single player to win medal at Badminton World Championship. Government Honored P.V Sindhu with India's fourth highest civil prestigious honor "Padma Shri". she was the first Indian badminton player to reach the final of an Olympics at very young age.
SAINA NEHWAL
Saina Nehwal is an Indian Professional badminton single's player. she was born on 17 March1990 in Hisar town of Haryana state, her father name is Harvir singh and her mother name is Usha Rani her father worked in Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University (CCSHUA) in Hisar. she also has a younger sister. Saina Nehwal studied at the campus school located inside the CCSHUA campus initially but when she moved to Hyderabad she passed her schooling from St. Anne's college Mehdipatnam Hyderabad. Saina was Interested in badminton from early age and was coached by Nani Prasad when she was child. after that she coached by S.M Arif, an Award winning badminton coach. In 2006, Saina comes into limelight as a teenager when she won the under-19 championship and also won Asian Satellite Badminton Tournament two times.
Sina was awarded by the Arjuna Award in 2009 and a year later, the Government of India Honored her with "Padma Shri" award. she also awarded by "Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award" in 2009 as well as she awarded by "Padma Bhushan Award" in 2016 .
ASHWINI PONAPPA :
Ashwini Ponappa is an Indian badminton player she was born on 18 September 1989 , she represent India at the international badminton circuit in both women's singles and mixed doubles disciplines. she has a successful partnership with Jwala Gutta and won so many medals including gold medal at the commonwealth games and a historic bronze at the world championships. their pair also have been consistently ranked among top 20 in BWF world rankings. Ashwini won a bronze medal in London women's doubles and she won one gold and two silver medals in commonwealth games in 2010 and she won two bronze in Uber cup and one bronze at Incheon Asian games as well she won two gold and one silver medal at south Asian games at Guwahati.
JWALA GUTTA :
Jwala Gutta is an Professional badminton player of India which Specialized in women's doubles . she was born on 7 September 1983 in Wardha , Maharashtra and brought up in Hydrabad, Telangana , her father name is Kranti Gutta and her mother name is Yelan Gutta her younger sister name is insi gutta her father is Telugu and mother is Chinese that's why she Knows both Telugu and Chinese language. initially she played tennis but after that insistence from mother she started playing badminton under the coaching by S.M Arif and she started her training at LBS stadium.
She won under-13 Girls Mini National Badminton Championship held at Kerala. In 2000, Jwala when she was just 16 manage to won the Junior National Badminton Championship and In same year, she also won the Women's Doubles Junior National Championship and the Senior National Badminton Championship, both in partnership with Shruti Kurien. This association was to last several years, and the pairing of Jwala Gutta and Shruti Kurien won the Women's Doubles National title for seven years in succession, from 2002 to 2008. Government of India also honor her with the "Arjuna Award".
SRIKANTH KIDAMBI :
Srikanth Nammalwar Kidambi was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh on 7 February 1993. His father's name is KVS Krishna and He is a landlord, and his mother's name is Radha she is a House-wife and Srikanth’s elder brother Nanda Gopal is also a badminton player. in 2011 Commonwealth youth games in isle if man , Srikanth won the silver medal in mixed doubles and bronze in doubles. he also become the winner in the singles and doubles category at all India Junior International Badminton Championship held in Pune. in 2012 he overcame the Junior World Champion Zulfadi Zulkiffli of Malaysia in the Maldives International Challenge to Acheive men's singles title. In the 2013 Kidambi Beat Defending Champion and Olympian Parupalli Kashyap in the All India Senior National Championships in Delhi to claim his first senior national title and he was also part of the Awadhe Warriors team that finished second in the Indian Badminton league 2013.
